Not everyone can properly read the signals a dog sends—especially people who don’t interact with dogs on a daily basis. That’s why a clear message on a harness, leash, or collar is a simple and effective way to increase both safety and walking comfort. The “Do Not Touch” collection was created inspired by the The Yellow Dog Project, which promotes the idea of a yellow element in a dog’s gear as a clear signal that the dog needs more space and should not be touched or approached too closely.
The webbing used to manufacture the harness is made from high-quality recycled yarn sourced from used plastic bottles—rPET polyester compliant with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. This makes the material durable and resistant to abrasion and damage, while also being more environmentally responsible, as its production reduces waste as well as water, energy, and natural resource consumption.
The yellow “DO NOT TOUCH” guard harness features three-point adjustable straps—two adjustment buckles around the neck and additional adjustment on the strap behind the front legs—allowing for a precise fit to the dog’s body. The guard-style design is recommended for medium and large breeds, as it does not restrict movement, makes it harder for the dog to escape, and performs well during everyday walks. Durable hardware and strong fastenings further enhance safety.
The harness is put on over the dog’s head and fastened with a convenient buckle behind the front legs. It is available in three sizes: S — chest girth 24–45 cm, neck girth 22–35 cm; M — chest girth 38–70 cm, neck girth 29–48 cm; L — chest girth 55–100 cm, neck girth 45–75 cm.
Guard harnesses from the “Do Not Touch” collection support pet owners in maintaining their dog’s well-being wherever clear communication with the environment is essential—for example, when a dog is working or assisting, undergoing training, does not tolerate contact with strangers, when a female is in heat, when the dog is recovering from surgery or treatment, is a senior needing calm conditions, shows fear-based reactions, is in quarantine as a puppy or a new family member, is learning to adapt after adoption from a shelter, or displays aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.
If your dog fits any of these scenarios, “DO NOT TOUCH” harnesses, leashes, and collars will significantly improve communication with others and help protect your dog’s personal space.
